കെ.ആർ.ഗൗരിയമ്മ (ജനനം:14 ജൂലൈ 1919 - 11 മേയ് 2021) 1957, ചേർത്തല താലൂക്കിലെ പട്ടണക്കാട് പ്രദേശത്തുള്ള അന്ധകാരനഴി എന്ന ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ കളത്തിപ്പറമ്പിൽ കെ. എ. രാമൻ, പാർവ്വതിയമ്മ എന്നിവരുടെ മകളായി 1919 ജൂലൈ 14-നാണു് ഗൗരിയമ്മ ജനിച്ചതു്. 1960 കേരള നിയമസഭകളിൽ ചേർത്തലയിൽ നിന്നും 1965 മുതൽ 1977 വരെയും 1980 മുതൽ 2006 വരെയും അരൂരിൽ നിന്നും നിയമസഭാംഗമായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. കേരളത്തിൽ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ കാലം നിയമസഭാംഗമായ വ്യക്തി, ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ കാലം മന്ത്രിയായ വനിത, ഏറ്റവും പ്രായം കൂടിയ മന്ത്രി തുടങ്ങിയ റെക്കോർഡുകൾ കെ.ആർ ഗൗരിയമ്മയ്ക്ക് അവകാശപ്പെട്ടതാണ്. വിദ്യാർഥി രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിലൂടെ പൊതുരംഗത്തെത്തിയ ഗൗരിയമ്മ 1946ൽ കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ് പാർട്ടിയിൽ ചേർന്നു. തൊഴിലാളി-കർഷക പ്രക്ഷോഭങ്ങളിൽ അണിനിരന്നതിന്റെ പേരിൽ നിരവധി തവണ തടവു ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഗൗരിയമ്മ സ്വന്തം ജീവിതം പറഞ്ഞ 'ആത്മകഥ'ക്ക് 2011ലെ കേരള സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമി പുരസ്കാരവും ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
