വലിയ പാറകളിലും ഉന്നതങ്ങളായ സ്തംഭങ്ങളിലും പാറതുരന്നുണ്ടാക്കിയ ഗുഹകളുടെ ഭിത്തികളിലും വിസ്തൃതങ്ങളായ ശിലാഫലകങ്ങളിലും കാണുന്നു.

വാഴപ്പിള്ളി ശാസനം (AD 832)

"നമ:ശ്ശിവായ" എന്ന വന്ദന വാക്യത്തിൽ തുടങ്ങുന്ന ഏകശാസനം.
"വാഴപ്പള്ളി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ നിത്യപൂജ മുടക്കുന്നവർ ചേരരാജാവിന് നൂറ് ദിനാർ പിഴ ഒടുക്കണം".
കേരളത്തിൽ നിന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തിയ ഏറ്റവും പഴയ ശാസനം.(2nd Chera Dynasty).
കേരളവും, റോമുമായുള്ള വാണിജ്യ ബന്ധം തെളിയിച്ച ശാസനം.
ചെമ്പ് പാളിയിലുള്ള ശാസനം.
ചേരരാജാക്കൻമാരുടെ കേരളത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ലഭിച്ച ആദ്യശാസനം.
മലയാളലിപിയിലുള്ള ആദ്യ ശാസനം.
രാജശേഖരവ'മ്മൻ തയ്യാറാക്കി.("പരമേശ്വര ഭട്ടാരകൻ"എന്ന് ഈ ശാസനത്തിൽ.)

തരിസാപിള്ളിശാസനം (AD 849)

(തരിസാപിള്ളി = കൊല്ലം)
ഈശോസപിർ എന്ന ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ വ്യാപരിക്ക് എഴുതിയത്.
കേരളത്തിലെ അടിമവ്യവസ്ഥ തെളിയിക്കുന്ന ശാസനം.
തയ്യാറാകിയത്: ചേരരാജാവ്,സ്ഥാണു രവിവ'മ്മയുടെ മന്ത്രി അയ്യനടി തിരുവടികൾ.

ഹജൂർ ശാസനം (AD 866)

പ്രാചീനകേരളത്തിലെ വിദ്യാപീഠങ്ങളെ പറ്റി പരാമർശിക്കുന്നു.
ആയ് രാജാവ് കരിനന്തക്കൻ തയ്യാറാക്കി.

ചോക്കൂർ ശാസനം (AD 923)

കേരളത്തിലെ ദേവദാസികളെ പറ്റിയുള്ളത്.
ഗോദരവിവ'മ്മൻ തയ്യാറാകിയത്.

പാലിയം ശാസനം (AD 925)

ആയ് രാജാവ് വിക്രമാദിത്യവരഗുണൻ തയ്യാറാക്കി.
പരാന്തകന്റെ കേരളീയാക്രമണം മുഖ്യവിഷയം.

മാമ്പിളളി ശാസനം (AD 974)

"ചെങ്ങന്നൂർ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലേക്കു് ഭൂസ്വത്തു് ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന രേഖയാണിത് ".
കൊല്ലവർഷം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ ആദ്യ ശാസനം.
പഴയ വേണാട്ചരിത്രത്തിന്റെ ചിത്രം വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്ന ശാസനം.
വേണാട് രാജാവ് ശ്രീവല്ലഭൻകോത തയ്യാറാക്കിയത്.

ജൂതശാസനം (AD 1000)

"തിരുനെല്ലി ശാസനം"
ചേരരാജാവ് ഭാസ്കര രവി-1 തയ്യാറാകിയത്.
ജോസഫ് റബ്ബാൻ എന്ന യഹൂദ പ്രമാണിക്ക് സ്വന്തമായി നികുതി പിരിക്കാനുള്ള അവകാശവും, അഞ്ചുവണ്ണ സ്ഥാനവും ചേരരാജാവ്, അനുവദിച്ചു കൊടുത്ത രേഖയാണിത്.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) or (IAST: Bhāratīya Antrikṣ Anusandhān Saṅgaṭhan) is the national space agency of India, headquartered in Bengaluru. It operates under the Department of Space (DOS) which is directly overseen by the Prime Minister of India, while the Chairman of ISRO acts as the executive of DOS as well.
