കേരളത്തിലെ നദികൾ പ്രകൃത്യാ ഉണ്ടാവുന്ന വലിയ ജലസരണികളെ നദികൾ എന്ന് വിളിക്കുന്നു. നദികളെ പുഴകൾ, ആറുകൾ എന്നും വിളിക്കാറുണ്ടെങ്കിലും താരതമ്യേന ചെറിയ ജലസരണികളെയാണു പുഴകൾ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ആറുകൾ എന്നു വിളിക്കുന്നത്‌.

Bharatanatyam , also previously called Sadhir Attam, is a major form of Indian classical dance that originated in Tamil Nadu. It has flourished in the temples and courts of southern India since ancient times. It is one of the widely recognized eight forms of Indian classical dance (the others being Kathak, Kuchipudi, Odissi, Kathakali, Mohiniyattam, Manipuri, and Sattriya) and it expresses South Indian religious themes and spiritual ideas, particularly of Shaivism, Vaishnavism, and Shaktism.
