Virgin Galactic Unity 22 is a sub-orbital spaceflight of the SpaceShip Two-class VSS Unity which launched on 11 July 2021. The crew consisted of pilots David Mackay and Michael Masucci as well as passengers Sirisha Bandla, Colin Bennett, Beth Moses, and Sir Richard Branson. The flight is a noticeable nine days before Blue Origin's NS-16 which will fly Jeff Bezos to suborbital space.
On 11 July 2021, Unity's mother ship VMS Eve carried VSS Unity in a parasite configuration to be drop launched. Unity reached an altitude of 282,773 feet (86,189 m) on T+2:38. The apogee of 86.0 km (282,000 ft) was reached.
