Padma Awards Winners 2022The Padma Awards are conferred by the President of India at ceremonial functions which are held at Rashtrapati Bhawan usually around March/ April every year. Padma Awards are one of the highest civilian honours in India and are categorized into three namely, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri.
The Padma awards are granted in a variety of disciplines/fields of activity, including art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, commerce and industry, medical, literature and education, sports, and civil service, among others. President Ram Nath Kovind approved conferment of 128 Padma Awards this year on the eve of the 73rd Republic Day. Following is the list of Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri awardees.
