Total Number of Vacancy for RRB JE Recruitment 2019 is 13487. RRB JE Salary is on Level 6th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs.35400 with other allowances. Age Limit for RRB JE Recruitment 2018-19 Minimum    18 years and Maximum 33 years (Relaxation is Applicable). The 1st Stage CBT of RRB JE 2019 Exam will be held tentatively in the month of April or May 2019. The entire recruitment process contains the 1st stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd stage CBT, and Document Verification Medical Examination as applicable.

RRB JE Exam 2019 Pattern and Syllabus

Railway JE 2019 Exam will be conducted in different Phases

1. Computer Based Test (1st Stage)
2. Computer Based Test (2nd Stage)
3. Document Verification/Medical Examination (as applicable)

The first stage CBT will comprise of 100 objective type questions with multiple choices. The duration of the test will be 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates accompanied with Scribe). Questions will be from the following

1. Mathematics: Number systems, BODMAS, Fraction, Decimal, Square Root, Ratio and Proportion, LCM and HCF, Profit and Loss, Percentages, Algebra, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Time and Work, Simple and Compound Interest, Age Calculations, Trigonometry, Geometry, Pipes & Cistern, and Calendar & Clock.
2. General Intelligence & Reasoning: Alphabetical and Number Series, Analogies, Mathematical operations, Coding and Decoding, Relationships, Jum-bling, Syllogism, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Similarities and Differences, Conclusions and Decision Making, Analytical reasoning, Directions, Classification, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.
3. General Awareness: Knowledge of Current affairs, culture and history of India including freedom struggle, Indian geography, Indian Economy, Indian Polity and constitution, Environmental issues concerning India and the World, General scientific and technological developments, Sports etc.
4. General Science: Chemistry, Physics, and Life Sciences

RRB JE Pattern and Syllabus (2nd Stage CBT)

150 objective type questions with multiple choices will be asked in the second stage CBT. The maximum duration of the exam is 120 minutes.

• General Awareness: Knowledge of Current affairs, culture, and history of India including freedom struggle, Indian geography, Indian Polity and constitution, Indian Economy, Sports, Environmental issues concerning India and the World, General scientific and technological developments etc.
• Physics & Chemistry: Topics from CBSE syllabus up to class 10th
• Basics of Computers and Applications: The architecture of Computers - input and Output devices, Storage devices, Networking, Operating System like Windows, Unix, and Linux, MS Office, Various data representation Internet and Email Websites & Web Browsers Computer Virus
• Basics of Environment and Pollution Control: Basics of Environment - Adverse effect of environmental pollution and control strategies Air, water and Noise pollution, their effect and control Global warming Waste Management Acid rain Ozone depletion
• Technical Abilities: Various exam groups have been defined as per the educational qualifications for each post. Questions will be asked as per the syllabus prescribed for different exam groups.
