UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022 Notification

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the civil service exam (CSE) 2022. The notification includes the details on the application window, eligibility criteria, exam pattern and the number of vacancies. A total of 861 vacancies has been notified by the commission. Those Candidates who are Interested to the following vacancy and completed all Eligibility Criteria can read the notification & apply online. The application process will remain open till 6 p.m. February 22. The number of vacancies to be filled through the examination is expected to be approximately 861 which include 34 vacancies reserved for persons with benchmark disability category.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) said on Wednesday that it will conduct the Civil services preliminary examination 2022 on 5 June. Those candidates who qualify can appear for the main examination later. Candidates clearing both the rounds will then be called for a personal interview/personality test. The civil services examination is conducted annually in three stages – preliminary, main and interview – to select officers of Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service and Indian Police Service, among others.

• Visit the official website of UPSC - upsconline.nic.in.
• On the homepage, click on the application link for CSE 2022.
• On the next page, click on the part I registration link available against the CSE prelims 2022.
• Fill in the UPSC CSE application form with the necessary details to complete the part I registration. 
• Once done, save the registration number and password and proceed to part II registration.
• Complete the remaining details and upload the required documents.
• Pay the application fee and download a copy of the UPSC CSE prelims application form 2022 for future reference.

The candidate has to be an Indian national for IAS and IPS posts. For others, they can be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees. Check more for the official notification. The minimum age limit to apply for UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022 is 21 years. There is a relaxation for SC/ST and OBC as per Government of India norms. Every candidate is allowed to give six attempts. Candidates belonging to categories other than general get more attempts.

UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022 invites applications to fill up 861 Vacancies of Civil Services and another notification for Indian Forest Service Exam (IFoS) 2022 is also released. The Preliminary Exam for both CSE and IFoS is common while the Main Exam and Interview will be conducted separately. The total number of vacancies for IFoS is 151.

UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022 Application Fee

Candidates applying (excepting Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) for Civil services preliminary examination are required to pay a fee of ₹100.
